1. Babur, Lewisham

This traditional Indian restaurant first opened its doors in 1985. In the intervening 39 years, it has won awards and fans thanks in no small part to its spicy Sunday buffet menu.

The food on offer changes every week but always features a nice range of sub-continent-inspired starters, mains and salads.

It’s an all-you-can-eat deal, with both meat and vegetarian dishes on the menu.

2. Sushi Eatery Soho

This all-you-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant in Soho bills itself as a sushi utopia.

Being a sushi restaurant, they naturally put a lot of emphasis on freshness and source nearly all (95%) of their raw ingredients locally in London and the surrounding area.

6. Shuffle Club, Shoreditch

This restaurant-cum-sports club in Shoreditch has imported an increasingly popular US pastime to Britain and based an interactive dining experience around it.

The bottomless brunch buffet menu features an hour’s worth of play on one of the bar’s shuffleboards plus two hours of endless slices of freshly baked pizza, house beer and free-flowing prosecco.

7. The Coal Hole, The Strand

The buffet features some interesting pizza selections, including traditional Margheritas and less traditional double pepperoni and hot honey and mushroom and truffle.

Included in the price is an unlimited supply of alcohol, including Prosecco, house white and red wine and Camden beer. Non-alcoholic options are also available.

For observant Muslims and non-meat eaters, there are Halal and vegan pizzas available.

10. Crown and Anchor, Euston

Ideal for a more informal gathering of 10 or more people, this buffet offering in Chiswick is not your typical walk-in buffet.  You have to order at least seven days in advance.

The pub’s buffet menu is packed with mouthwatering buffet fare, including crispy calamari, nachos, fried chicken, mango and avocado salad, cheeseburger sliders, fries, and crispy camembert bites.

A separate vegetarian and vegan menu is also available. It features halloumi skewers, smoked salmon pâté, artichoke and red pepper arancini, and spiced falafel wraps.
